Mechanical Design Engineer
Department: Mechanical
Location: Chester (Office Based)

Job Description: A Mechanical Design Engineer is required to join a progressive skilled team working on a wide variety of projects.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, forward thinking and up for the challenge of working in a fast paced environment working on multiple projects at the same time, from designing small components to complete design of steelwork platforms and process piping arrangement.
We are looking for someone who can develop, improve and provide cost effective solutions for our clients, having the ability to interpret their specifications and visions.
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable: Chartered Engineer (or working towards), Full project lifecycle.
Skills: Experience using 3D AutoCAD, Solidworks.
Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description: An Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a progressive skilled team working on a wide variety of projects.
Working in a Technical/Engineering role, you will be responsible for bringing customer concepts through to completion. This will range from reverse engineering customer information, creating bills of materials, sourcing components, creating detailed in depth documentation.
- Assist in creating 2D electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical.
- Help ensure designs meet safety, compliance, and performance requirements under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering and production teams to support the integration of control systems into equipment and installations.
- Support the panel build process by providing documentation and clarifying design intent to the assembly team.
- Help document design changes and participate in design reviews to learn best practices and develop your skills.
- Assist during testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) stages as needed.
Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Desirable: Chartered Engineer (or working towards), Full project lifecycle.
Skills: Experience using 2D AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan P8.
