Electrical Schematics are a requirement to allow a panel to be fabricated. All our designs provide a top level overview of the Electrical, Control & Instrument (EC&I) panel wiring. Contractors rely on accurate drawings to take their projects through to successful completion.

We create Electrical Schematics using the latest industry standard software packages such as, AutoCAD Electrical and EPlan, this ensures all our drawings comply to the latest design standard IEC symbols.

We comply with the latest British Standards Wiring Regulations BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and subsequent amendments. Once the Electrical design has been completed this can either be issued as a native CAD file or in PDF format.

Each project is assessed on an individual basis and depending on the complexity and other workload commitments within our design office, however, we can usually provide a fast turnaround.

Some of our work is based on old electrical schematics where old paper copied have been marked up on site over the years and there are no electronic records on file for reproducing the drawings, we can convert these paper drawings into Electronic CAD Schematics so they can be stored on a computer and thus never degrade over time and provide a backup if ever required.

There have been some instances where legacy control systems have never been maintained and site copied of schematics have been lost completely and no electronic copy on site. This is not a problem for Deans Designs as we can reverse Engineer a Control System and produce schematics which you can hold on site forever until the system is decommissioned.
